YMCA Membership
Types of Membership
Adult:
One individual eighteen years or older.
Family:
Two individuals, married, with or without children.
Children twenty-two years of age and under that are unmarried and living at
home, or attending college full time (minimum of 12 hours) are included
in the membership.
Single Parent/Family:
Must be widowed, divorced or unmarried.
Sr. Citizen Individual:

One individual sixty-five years of age or older.
Sr. Citizen Couple:
One spouse must be sixty five years or older to be eligible for the couple’s
rate.
Youth:
One youth
9 years old through age 12. Youth under 9 qualify for a program membership.
Teen:
One teen age 13 through High School.
College Student:
One individual under 24 years of age Must provide proof that he/she
is enrolled in at least 12 hours.
Joiner Fee $65
The joiner fee is a one-time fee, as long as membership is continuous; it
does not apply to Youth or Teen membership.
Some local employers pay a
corporate fee to reduce their employees and families cost. As at the
front desk or your employer to see if you qualify for a corporate discount.
Pro-Rate for First Month
Pay for the remainder of your first month in addition to your Joiner Fee when you join, figured by the day of month you join.
Monthly Membership Categories and Rates:
Monthly fee are payable by bankdraft on the 15th of each month for that month. Two weeks written notice is required for bankdraft cancellation.

Payment Methods:

Automatic Bank Draft/Continuous Payment:
Payment is made by Monthly Bank Draft. Drafts are processed on the 15th of each
month; membership is continuous unless canceled by the 10th. A Cancellation Form
must be completed, and all cards must be turned in upon cancellation.
Cancellation:
A $20.00 cancellation fee will be charged should the member cancel within the first year.
Liability Information:
Liability:
The Denny Price Family YMCA assumes no responsibly
for injuries or illnesses of members and/or guests resulting from
poor physical condition, observation or participation in any activity
or use of the YMCA facilities or equipment.
Insurance:
It is the responsibility of each YMCA member and/
or guest to provide their own accident and health coverage while
participating in all YMCA activities. The YMCA does not provide
any accident or health insurance for its participants.
Medical:
In the event of sickness or serious injury, the YMCA will
obtain medical attention for any YMCA member and /or guest. The
member and /or guest will be held responsible for any expenses
resulting from special medical treatment, prescriptions or hospital
care.
Property Loss:
The YMCA is not responsible for personal
property lost, damaged or stolen while members and/or guests are
using the YMCA facilities or YMCA program premises.
You may bring your own lock to secure your valuables.

A secure financial future for the Y depends heavily on endowment giving. Become a member of the Heritage Club by giving a fight for all generations - remember the Y in your will. Call the Y to become a part of the Heritage Club - and invest in your Y's future.
Back-A-Youth - Over 800 Youth Served Last Year!
The Back-A-Youth program provides memberships for youth expressing a financial need. You can back-a-youth by sponsoring this program which serves individual youth as well as subsidizing all youth memberships. Talk to a Y staff member today for more information on how you can Back-A-Youth!
Teen Cybex Centers Usage:
13 years and older will be allowed in the Cybex Centers with training and parents signature on waiver. (no longer requires parent supervision) Teens who have completed training must wear a green band (13-14 years old ) or a red band (15 through high school graduate) when using the Cybex Centers.
Teen Weight Room Usage:
16 year olds through high school graduate will be allowed to use the Free Weight Room without parent supervision. They must bring a waiver signed by a parent and complete a training session. Teens who have completed training must wear a red band when using the Weight Room.
